Solving problems involving right cone

A tool is made up of a cone on top of a cylinder . The cylinder has a height h of 15 cm and a radius of 5 cm. The volume of the cone is 100 Pi cm 2. O is the vertex of the cone, AB is the diameter of the base of the cone and C its center. Points O, A, B and C are in the same plane.

Calculate the area of the lateral surface of the tool.

 Find the radius and the curved surface area of the cone made from a quadrant of a circle of radius 42 cm.

 Find the length of canvas 1 m in width required to make a conical tent 8 m in diameter and 3 m in height. Also, find the cost of the canvas at the rate of RS15 per meter.

 Calculate the volume of a rotating cone with base radius r=8 cm and height h=18 cm. 

The rotating cone has a base diameter of 18 dm and a height of 12 dm. Calculate the volume V.
